Do you struggle to walk your path?

Feng shui has Answers And Solutions

The umbrella of East Asian Medicine includes many modalities, including acupuncture, herbs, cupping… as well as Feng Shui. Feng Shui is a five-element-based system that looks at the interrelationship of how your home (as well as personal aesthetics) contribute your current life and health circumstances.

The wood element, whose season is spring, is concerned with themes of creation, project inception, and walking your life path. Often, in the springtime, people feel an abundance of creative energy to move forward on their ideas and vision.

Do you ever wonder:  “Why do I struggle to get projects started?”

But what if you you struggle to get projects off the ground? What if you feel lost and unclear on your life path? Or what if you just struggle to get your day started?

If this sounds like you, it could be helpful to look at the New Beginnings gua, quadrant or area of your home, which is associated with the wood element..

Feng shui uses, the bagua, a pictorial representation of the five elements, which you can see to the right.

For simplicity, this image can be turned into a rectangular grid that can be laid over a floor plan as shown on the left. This is often referred to as the feng shui grid.

How To Improve the Feng Shui Of My Home

If you know the location of your new beginnings area (see below for instructions for simple floor plans) you can then ask yourself these questions:

  • Is this area of my home cluttered, messy or full of dead plants, garbage, broken furniture or technology?
  • What would make this room feel lighter, uplifting or inspiring? How would it be possible to uplevel this space?
  • Do I have control over this area of my home? Who do I need to collaborate with on this space to improve the vibe?

Then, get to work clearing this area and giving it fresh energy. See how your relationship to starting projects, your life path or your day starts to become easier and more clear. I will feel so curious what you discover.

How to lay the Feng Shui Grid On My Floor Plan

There are different systems of feng shui. The one that I am trained in is known as Black Sect Buddhist Feng Shui. It places the bottom of the feng shui grid at the doorway to the house. This is super easy if your floor plan is a rectangle as shown below:

Placement of the bagua gets more complex if your home is L or U-shaped or is at an angle to the front edge of the house, for example, in a scenario like this:

If you have a unique floor plan a consultation will be helpful for helping you get this sorted out. Just reply to this email to get started.
