Believe it or not, this week marks the arrival of the metal element and the earliest whispers of autumn. But I’m not going to harsh your summer mellow with threats of cooler, shorter days just yet. Let’s lean into the earth element a little longer…
Earth element is the foundation of your life: strong digestion, stable and comfortable home, structures of support, community and family, systems and routines that let life flow more easily.
A huge foundation of support in MY life and business is my office manager, Lindsay Kunz. Lindsay handles so much – billing, communications, tech, marketing – that I have to stop myself from asking her for knitting help (you may catch her wearing her own knit and sewn creations around the office).
Lindsay is also in her final semester of study at Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College (AIMC) in Berkeley where her private intern practice focuses on women’s health and orthopedics. She has even interned at the UC Berkeley Athletics Department!
This autumn Lindsay will sit for her acupuncture board exam. With an eye toward eventually welcoming her into the office as an associate acupuncturist, she will begin shadowing me in the treatment room starting in August.
Clinical Observation sessions are now available on Tuesday afternoons at 1 and 1:30PM at a discounted rate of $120. The session runs as usual. I’ll handle the intake, diagnosis and treatment, with Lindsay observing and feeling your pulse alongside me.
Would you like to bring in a foundation of support to your life with a Clinical Observation visit? You can schedule that session opens in a new window::HERE::.
