I’ve mentioned in past newsletters that pride is a metal element concept. Pride in your identity, in your qualifications and in your achievements. Showing off your diploma, your certificates, awards, medals, trophies and owning your accomplishment CAN be a sign of healthy metal element.
So, in the metal element season, it’s timely for me to share that I was nominated for Best of El Cerrito (eeek!!!). I am grateful and honored to have been nominated (and receiving and feeling honor are metal element concepts).
I am passionate about sharing about acupuncture and Chinese Medicine with the local community to help mitigate the physical and emotional pain that this modern, fast-paced, demanding world so easily foments. And winning would be a great way to help people find me that might not otherwise.
Would you take a moment to cast your vote for me? Acupuncture is the first category under Health and Beauty Services. opens in a new window::HERE:: is the link to vote.
Being OVERLY concerned with “achievement”: “I only date Ivy League grads”; Or using certifications to delay stepping into action or cover up a confidence issue: “One more certification and I’ll finally be ready to…” are examples of metal element imbalance. There can always be too much or too little of a good thing. Would you like to bring balance back to the elements in your life? Right now, the season of the metal element, is a potent time for working on these imbalances.
