Can you have too many sparkles? (A cost-benefit analysis)

Do you ever feel like a kid in a candy store? I do. There’s something so fun about trying new and exciting things. I’ve always wanted to do roller derby, or learn fire spinning or take a water color class and what about that dance class on Saturday mornings? but that conflicts with the meditation group that meets at the same time! There are so many bids for my resources, time, money. It can be hard to choose. (I have actually released roller derby from my bucket list at this point).

Does this resonate with you?

Newness, variety, inspiration, delight…these are fire element themes. We need them in our life. In case you haven’t read a recent newsletter, right now, the summer, fire element months are the perfect time to make sure you’re getting an infusion of these ingredients in your life.

AND if you’re a fire element personality type these ingredients are like oxygen for you. You have them in spades and you bring them with you wherever you go. Thank you for the bowties, the dramatic eye makeup, the fauxhawks, the performance art, the sparkles in your eyes, the jokes, the depth of feeling from your vulnerable hearts. WE experience delight at your poetry, your flirtation, your ability to make us laugh.

CAN YOU REALLY HAVE TOO MANY SPARKLES? When inspiration and excitement prevent project completion (and interferes with job security); when the need for variety prevents investment in meaningful relationships (or one relationship becomes so meaningful there’s an unhealthy preoccupation); when ecstatic delight is so high that you can’t sleep (or there’s a subsequent crash in energy and mood); whether you’re a FIRE PERSONALITY or not, these are signs that your PHYSIOLOGICAL FIRE requires balancing.

There is a way to have fire element delight WITH groundedness. Would you like to learn how Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine wisdom can help? You can schedule a free, 15-minute Discovery Session opens in a new window ::HERE::
